Bits and bobs update

As far as I know the bits and pieces sent off with Rhiannon are doing ok. I guess i'll find out next Thursday when she brings everything home again.

So far I know that a scarf has gone

Pattern by me! A double ruffle

And two little crocheted bags, all fully lined, that I was asked to make for a teachers nieces

A small Lucy bag

A children's size granny bag

Apparently there has also been some interest in my cloche hats

Pattern found here

and a mohair wrap too

So we'll see, I might even end up with a few pennies for the gas bill and finally put the heating on.....

An array of brooches

I've been finally getting around to finishing just some of the projects that I've started recently. First off is some brooches to hopefully sell for Christmas, all backed and ready to go.

Rhiannon has very kindly taken on the role of my project manager, sorting out an inventory, checking up on me that I have been working, sitting down on a Saturday afternoon and helping with oh lots of things and generally making me realise how much stuff I have actually made that is currently hanging around in cupboards just sitting there waiting for me to pluck up the courage to try and make a few pennies. Even better she is going to be taking everything to school for the other teachers to have a look at and hopefully buy!

First business lunch!!

We had our first, hopefully of many, business lunches to cater for today. Okay it was only for 8 people but from small acorns.....

Smart new boxes

Sprouted mung beans and chick peas

Roasted peppers, lovely fresh leaves, all together with
homemade rolls and dressing

All labelled up

Really happy with the look

We received excellent feedback, apparently everything went down really well, from the concept to the actual eating, just brilliant.

We have another one for 24 people next week and then some serious plugging will be in order me thinks!

A quiet walk.

Bertie & I went for an early walk this morning.
A new area for us after doing the school run. It was so quiet, just fields, the two of us and not another soul in sight, lovely.
